Three ladies who are very well known to Britain's jockeys are running in this year's London Marathon to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association.
The trio (from left to right) are Izzy Desailly, Commercial Manager, and Clare Hazell, Membership Manager, of the Professional Jockeys Association, plus Lisa Delany, General Manager & Career Coach of the Jockeys Employment & Training Scheme.
Izzy said: "The Spinal Injuries Association is a cause very close to our hearts and those of jockeys, so it's a most appropriate charity for which to raise money.
"We are all building up our training and pounding the roads and pavements to get ourselves ready for the big day on Sunday 25 April."
Donations can be made online at http://www.justgiving.com/horseracingslondonmarathon2010 (please state that donations are to the PJA team) or by sending cheques made payable to the Spinal Injuries Association to the PJA offices at 39B Kingfisher Court, Hambridge Road, Newbury RG14 5SJ.
