We're entering the last few weeks of summer and now's the time to get some great bargains as the shops begin to clear out their stock to make room for the autumn/winter collections.

The 'Little Black Dress Experiment Tours America' will showcase the styles of 31 bloggers - one a day during August -- as they present the unique looks they have created with their Ann Taylor little black dress. A day at the races is a glamorous occasion and something of a real day out for lots of women. One of the larger appeals is that it affords girls the opportunity to go for maximum impact when it comes to dressing up. Dressing for the races has always had a notoriously high expectation: it’s a great venue for women to show off the latest in couture, in fancy footwear, hats and sequins.

The Royal Ascot Fashion Show, returns to the Bessborough Restaurant for the five days of Royal Ascot. The catwalk frontliners for this year are the Grand Dame of British fashion and three times British Designer of the Year, Vivienne Westwood; maestro of milliners, Stephen Jones; fashion’s finest Amanda Wakeley, who recently received an OBE for her services to the fashion industry; entourage to the stars Matthew Williamson; and the holder of three Royal Warrants, Gieves & Hawkes.
