Redcar Racecourse is hosting its first ever Ladies’ AND Gents’ Evening – alongside the horseracing on Saturday 27 August, there is a fashion show to watch, ‘best dressed’ competitions to enter and a fun casino to play. Local band Chilli & The Peanuts are providing the music, while there will be a luxury ‘pamper’ zone in the Petch Stand.

Epsom Downs Racecourse will once again be opening its gates for the popular totesport Family Fun Day on Monday 29th August, 2011 and for the first time in the event’s history, Epsom will turn the event into ‘fun festival’ as it combines with the 2011 Epsom Racehorse Trainers’ Open Day on Sunday the 28th and a free raceday on Tuesday 30th August, 2011.
