The National Association of Stable Staff (NASS) is the trade union for Stable Staff. It has 45% of eligible Stable Staff in membership and is affiliated to the Trades Union Congress (TUC). It was previously the Stable Lads Association and changed its name in 2007 as part of a rejuvenation of the organisation.

The Darley July Cup

The Darley Cup is a Class One, Group One, with a £400,000 Total Prize Fund.

Global Sprint Challenge & British Champions Series. Six furlongs long it is for three-year-olds and upwards.

It takes place at Newmarket, Saturday, 9 July, 2011.

 

Racing Belles take to the gallops

On a bright sunny morning last month a number of ladies across the UK were preparing for a visit to Bonita Racing Stables, owned by the very successful trainer Peter Makin. All were members of The Racing Belles Club, an exclusive ladies only horse racing club, which was launched earlier this year. This was their first stable visit to see their filly Fever Tree in training.
