The colour this season is Camel

E-mail Print PDF

With all the speed of a racehorse soaring across the finish line at the St Leger, autumn has once again surprised us all with its swift arrival. The nights are growing dark earlier and there’s a definite nip in the air.

I’m looking through my wardrobe on a misty morning and as I fumble my way through I come across a cobalt blue batwing sleeve coat from last year, which, while being one of last year’s colours, ‘last’ being the operative word here, will be having no further wear this year.

That’s because Fashion has moved on...and this Season it’s grown up too!

Dressing for the races

E-mail Print PDF

A day at the races is a glamorous occasion and something of a real day out for lots of women. One of the larger appeals is that it affords girls the opportunity to go for maximum impact when it comes to dressing up. Dressing for the races has always had a notoriously high expectation: it’s a great venue for women to show off the latest in couture, in fancy footwear, hats and sequins.

Denim Cool at the Stable

E-mail Print PDF

Combing glamour and fashion with horse riding is not a mutually exclusive relationship. In fact, culturally the equestrian world offers many outlets for dressing up, and a country wardrobe needn’t be stuck in the drab and stuffy at all.
