Plumpton Racecourse, which is located in the heart of Sussex, started the new season with their Ladies Day event on the 19th September. Over five thousand racegoers came to enjoy some Fun, Fizz and Fashion. The event offered not only competitive racing but also many attractions and some competitions, which all proved to be very popular. Lisa Muschamp, Sales and Marketing Executive, said she was very pleased of the success of Plumpton’s very first Best Dressed Man competition with a great turnout of over 50 men. Lisa was also overjoyed to see that over 170 ladies participated in the hotly contested Best Dressed Ladies competition. After some deliberations, the judges awarded first prize of an all inclusive 14 days in Barbados, courtesy of Almond Resorts to Dawn Harrell. Be it winner or loser, all savoured the last days of summer at one of the country’s most popular racecourses.
