Tuesday began with confirmation that the stallion El Prado had passed away. A simply wonderful stallion who stamped his horses grey, mostly. It was nice to see his son Fort Prado win recently at Kentucky Downs, in his honor. We then learned that Summer Squall had also died. Yikes, not a good week. Summer Squall won the Preakness over Unbridled and was very classy. Finally we learned that the USTA and Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame is hosting an adoption fair on October 17, in Goshen, NY.

On Tuesday the University of Delaware, where I received my MBA, published a profile of me. Read more here. It was very flattering to say the least! Mostly I am just lucky to be doing what I do. Sue McMullen also provided us some news from Europe. What we learned over here – Sea The Stars is known as “Sea His Arse” by the folks at Ballydoyle. That's just too funny!

On Thursday we tweeted a very cool 'behind the scenes' video of Rachel Alexandra on Woodward day. I also tweeted this comment from morning training: me 2 Steve Asmussen this morning: "thanks for the job". Steve 2 me: "thanks for caring"...
