An excited crowd of supporters gathered at The Plough Inn, at Ford in Gloucestershire, where top jockey Robert 'Choc' Thornton allowed his mane of curly blonde hair to be chopped off to raise money for the Injured Jockeys Fund.
Paying for the privilege of making a snip, onlookers stepped forward, encouraged by compere for the evening, Robert Bellamy. Fellow jockey William Kennedy then stepped forward to tidy up with the clippers - much to Choc's relief!
