Chester Barrie Spring/Summer 2017: For Spring Summer 2017 Chester Barrie designed the collection to make sure men look great when it matters most.

Start planning for Royal Ascot next year with Chester Barrie’s grey morning suit!

Highlights of the collection are the tailoring in lightweight summer cloths of wool, silk, and linen blend in a calming colour palette of ecru, mid blues and warm greys. Perfect for those lazy summer racing days.

Comfort and discreet elegance is key with half-lined jackets, which are as easy to style with a fine knit as they are with a shirt and tie.

A hero piece of the collection is a British double breasted blazer. Made in lightweight flannel, the six-button French Navy knockout is old school dressing for the younger generation. Accessorised here with a green and pink polka dot tie and pink shirt for that light fresh look.

Formal dressing attire includes the black tie tuxedo and a cream dinner suit.

At the epicentre of the formal story is a bright blue dinner suit with an ottoman facing lapel. It’s lighter than the average suit but still screams glamour.

Also important are suits that can be broken down into separates giving more choice. Chester Barrie makes this look simple with its new range of suit separates, designed to be mixed and matched for versatility and maximum impact.

Creating a calm and sophisticated ambience, the collection debuted during London Collections Men at The Palm Court , The Waldorf Hotel in central London where jazz singer Collette Cooper performed.

Attendees included David Gandy, Oliver Cheshire, Darren Kennedy, Johannes Huebl, Hu Bing, Dougie Poynter, Dermot O’Leary and of course Eclipse Magazine.

The collection will be available later this year from or Chester Barrie, 19 Savile Row, Mayfair, London W1S 3PP.
