Hotter raise over £120k for Marie Curie and celebrate with the
Limited Edition Daffodil Brooke
Hotter is celebrating marching past the £120k target for Marie Curie as they prepare to launch the latest style for the charity collaboration. Hotter has created the limited edition Daffodil Brooke shoe with the signature Marie Curie daffodil print inspired by Marie Curie’s iconic emblem.
Hotter has raised over £120k for Marie Curie since the launch of the partnership. This incredible amount is the equivalent of 6,000 hours of Marie Curie nursing care or 416 nine hour Marie Curie nursing shifts. For every pair of Brooke shoes sold, £20 will go to Marie Curie helping to fund an hour of Marie Curie nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness.
The shoe is available to buy for £79 from www.hotter.com. in support of Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal, the charity’s biggest annual fundraiser. Hotter’s everyday active shoe, Brooke, is easy to wear, as well as being the perfect way to donate and show support for Marie Curie.
Marie Curie are dedicated to helping people living with a terminal illness and their families make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert hands-on care, as well as providing emotional and practical support. Marie Curie fundraise in order to provide care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families while helping to fund research and campaign for better ways of providing end of life care.
At this time of national emergency, Marie Curie and frontline staff are needed more than ever as the NHS is put under even greater strain. But their fundraising activities are grinding to a halt and they’re facing a devastating loss of funds. They urgently need donations to their emergency appeal.
