What to Wear to Aintree Racecourse, What to Wear to Aintree

In the Pink at Aintree

Most gentlemen will opt for a black, navy or grey suit. Set yourself apart from this safe option; get in the pink and show off your rosy dapper style.

Robert Simon’s (available via Alvin Lee)  pale pink two piece suit in windowpane check comes with contrasting blue pattern on the lining and under the collar. The pull out pocket square (also in the blue pattern) ensures you won’t lose it. Price £159.

Surprisingly pink goes with many colours. For high colour contrast, wear with a black shirt as shown in the image but equally it will go well with khaki, sage green, navy and many shades of brown from light tan to dark chocolate.

For a softer look, pair with light to dark greys, light to mid blues, another shade of pink or the conventional crisp white shirt.

Here we’ve chosen Remus Uomo navy and white floral tapered fit shirt with cutaway collar. Price £59.95.

The tie is not obligatory for Aintree but most men do don one. In addition, if you are planning to enter the Style Awards, the judges are searching for a complete look, which means a tie. Remus Uomo pure silk narrow tie  in navy with subtle geometric design. Price £28.
