NEW DIRECTOR OF FOOD & BEVERAGE PLUS HEAD OF BETTING for Ascot Racecourse

Ascot Racecourse has announced two new appointments. Jonathan Parker will take up the role of Director of Food and Beverage, while Guy Chadwell becomes Head of Betting.

Mr Parker will join Ascot later in the summer, post Royal Ascot, after completing his ninth championships as Catering Operations Director at Wimbledon. He is currently Operations Director for FMC, part of the Compass group, the official caterer to The Championships, Wimbledon.

Mr Chadwell takes up his position later this month. A management consultant, he was previously at Betfred, where he was responsible for Totepool betting in southern England.

Alastair Warwick, Chief Operating Officer at Ascot Racecourse, said:  “I am delighted that Jonathan and Guy have agreed to join us later in the year.

“Jonathan will bring to Ascot a wealth of experience in delivering catering operations and is a highly motivated caterer with vast experience in all aspects of catering at Sporting Venues and Events.

“Meanwhile, Guy’s appointment is particularly timely as we prepare for the liberalisation of the Tote in 2018.”
