Paris Fashion & Haute Couture Week SS20

Add a touch of French chic for a day at the spring/summer races and take inspiration from Paris Fashion and Haute Couture Week.

Haute Couture Week

Adeline Ziliox

Oversized structured shoulders make a powerful statement. This warrior woman wears her clothes like sparkling armour with flashes of skin revealing her femininity and fragility. Neoprene mixes with chiffon and satin.

Aleem Yusuf

Titled ‘Obsession’ the collection represents the complex layers of love, individuality and beauty. Akin to a rose, Yusuf says couture is like a rose – it is beautiful, fierce and fragile all at the same time. We are obsessed with his jumpsuits. #RockItForRacing

La Metamorphose

This collection is titled ‘Les Couleurs de l’Ame’ (colours of the soul).

Silks, satin and taffeta in pastel peach and mint to deeper lavender and emerald green – which colour is your soul?

Maria Aristidou

Titled ‘BOLD’ the collection is inspired by Art Deco with its clean geometric designs. Aristidou chooses bold patterns embellished with sparkle to emulate the glamour of this glitzy era.

Alianna Liu

Titled ‘Kiss a rainbow under your skin’, Liu plays with colours recognising the emotional impact the right shades can have in design work. Prints are also inspired by the designer’s cats featuring cat’s paws and rainbows on a silk and lurex dress.

So bring out the graceful feline in you.

Zadig & Voltaire

With Kate Moss as artistic director Cecilia Bonstrom’s muse, the brand reveals the collection in ‘Nocturne-Chic’ style with an array of dresses superimposed on trousers and shorts displaying an asymmetrical draped effect.

Bonstrom and Kate teamed up to co-design a new handbag collection for Zadig. The ones shown here are the multicoloured Kate Arty bag with studs around the edges and  the Kate Wallet Croco bag in silver crocodile effect calfskin. Both with a metal ring engraved ‘Kate Loves Zadig&Voltair’.

Marrknull

Inspired by fairies, Marrknull brings the mythical figure into contemporary life to give it a more realistic role. This season Marrknull collaborates with Chinese apparel brand Uooyaa to create an elegant street ready fairy with active wear details and feminine mesh.
