Statement Designer coats
AW15 is a season for statement coats, here are a few of our favourites from London Fashion Week catwalks.
Game on for THE statement coat of the racing day out!
Peter Pilotto AW15 collection is inspired by the game boards of Snakes & Ladders, Connect Four and Ludo. Tracks are needle punched through boucle textures.
The geometric pattern on this mohair blend coat emulates a board game template. In crimson red and black with a splash of blue.
Model is also wearing a geometric knit wool blend jumper £590.
And strap detail wool skirt £565.
Abstract print knitted coat in a wool blend of fluffy angora.
Stop them in their tracks with Amanda Wakeley’s oversized long coat in a bold block colour of Apache Lipstick red. Made from 96% virgin wool.
Drawing influence from Mongolia’s remote Subarcic Taiga, texture is the key for the Ishi black jacquard coat with its brushed mohair detail on the collar, bottom half and along the check pattern.
Look Pretty in Pink with an A-line mini coat in a pink teddy bear shearling and matching hat. Genuine curly shearling coat.
Matching shearling bucket hat £389.96.
More subtle but still cuddly is Belstaff’s Corra coat in soft patchwork neutral tones of Kalgan shearling.
Model is also wearing Reilelly trousers in military green brushed stretch cotton twill, price £495.
Model behind is wearing Elly military green washed leather midi skirt, price £1,295.
Both models are wearing the oversized cashmere blend Whitton jumper in military green and grey melange, price £450.
