Heat Holders are thermal socks which possess a 2.34 tog rating and have been produced using a unique three-stage knitting process.
First, the socks are knitted with an extra-long looped pile which locks in warm air close to the skin; the fundamental key to thermal insulation.
Second, the special mix of yarn mixes produces a warm and cosy feel that is incredibly soft to the touch and super-comfortable to wear.
Finally the socks go through an intense brushing process, the method a closely guarded secret to this day, which maximises the number of small air pockets and in turn maximises your total warmth, comfort and overall thermal protection.
This process achieves the scientifically accredited 2.34 tog rating – significantly higher than the 0.89 tog rating of an ordinary thermal sock.
